Annotation
The article deals with the problem of the unification of the Chinese nation, an issue which is very important not only for China itself but for the whole Asian Pacific Region. Having united Xianggang and Aomin peacefully the People's Republic of China faces the more complicated task of reunion with Taiwan. On the one hand the government wants to keep the situation under control and solve the problem in the shortest possible time, on the other hand they realize that excessive pressure on the government and people of the island might lead to negative results. Under these conditions the Communist Party of China and democratic parties of China take subtle and careful measures to approach the moment of reunification of the Chinese nation. This article provides analysis of the activities of the Chinese political parties in this direction.
