Annotation The paper studies adaptation from the point of a subjective approach, defines the essence and main characteristics of a subject of adaptation, theoretically and empirically proves a system-forming role of assertiveness in the structure of adaptation subject personality and reveals its importance in the process of adaptation to special life circumstances.
