Lyubitskaya Olga Andreevna – Candidate of Psychology, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology at the Far Eastern State Transportation University. Annotation Theoretical comprehension of professional dignity as a psychological phenomenon is based on interdisciplinary analysis of the category of dignity and on the analysis of concepts closely connected with professional dignity and distinguishing basic determinants of the category under study. The article presents a complex of methods aimed at research into professional dignity as a psychological phenomenon elaborated and tested by the author. Key words: dignity, professional dignity, profession, professional self-awareness, professional self-determination, professional identity, worthy and unworthy professional actions, factors which promote strengthening and infringement of professional dignity. | ||
