AN ACCOUNT OF THE FEATURES OF CHINESE MENTALITY AS A PRECONDITION FOR EFFICIENT INTERACTION IN CROSS-CULTURAL EDUCATION

Annotation

The article considers the characteristic features of Chinese mentality which determine behavior of Chinese students and influence their adaptation to the conditions of studying at Russian higher educational institutions. The author presents the results of research conducted among Russian and Chinese students at FESTU. The research was aimed at revealing common and different psychological features of Chinese and Russian students which affect communication between them. The author offers measures for overcoming the difficulties of adaptation for Chinese students at Russian Universities.
