Annotation The article analyses the problem of the intensification of methods of teaching Russian language to foreign students coming from countries of the Asia Pacific Region to the Universities of the Russian Far East. The article considers the demands of modern society towards the condition of expansion of intercultural contacts in the discussion of the problem.
