Contacts: e-mail: t_aleksandrova@mail.ru Annotation The author discusses the differences in motivation-semantic attitudes of Russian and Chinese teachers, and reasons for these differences. Two types of motivation-semantic attitudes are considered: anthropo-oriented and imperative-scientistic. The results of the study of the emotional well-being of Russian and Chinese students are presented.
