Annotation
Contrastive analysis of the methodologies of Humanities and Natural Sciences is one of the aspects of solution of the fundamental problem of defining the epistemological status of humanitarian cognition. The peculiarities of disagreement, which function within these methodologies, constitute reflexive manifestation of subjective and personal commencements of cognition. The author tries to clarify whether the phenomenon of disagreement reveals the basic mechanisms of development of science as they are revealed in natural scientific cognition, which can serve as a confirmation of the epistemological status of humanitarian cognition.
