Nikitin A. G. "Methods of Science and Delusions of Cognition"

– Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Chair "Philosophy and Socio-Political Studies", First Prorector of the Amur Humanitarian Pedagogical University. He was born on February, 1946, in village Stolbovo of the Kamensky District, the Altay Kray. He graduated from the Urals State University, the Faculty of Philosophy in 1977. The theme of his Candidate’s dissertation was «Delusion within the Structure of the Natural Science Cognition: Nature, Sources, and Form of Emergence» (1984), the theme of his Doctoral dissertation was «Determination Analysis of Delusions in Natural Science» (1998). He is a Member of the Scientific-Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF for Philosophy. His academic interests are: ontology and theory of cognition, history of science, and history of philosophy. He is the author of more than sixty research and research-methodological papers in Russian and English.
