Annotation
The article is devoted to the problem of cultural trauma. Deep changes in all spheres of life (economic, political and cultural) have occurred in Russia since the early 1990s. These changes have been traumatic for the culture as a universe of values, norms, rules, patterns, symbols and meanings. Culture is most sensitive to trauma. A national idea which is capable of consolidating society and uniting society for the achievement of common goals and shared values is able to help overcome cultural trauma.
