Kalashnikova I. V. "Ethnic Employment and Living Standards of Indeginous Minorities of the Russian Far East at the Turn of the Century"

Among the complex socio-economic problems of the development of indigenous minorities of the Extreme Northern regions the author distinguishes the need for introduction and adoption of a new way of living based on reforming the (model of) ethnic employment. Without resolving this problem the indigenous minorities of the Extreme North have no future. System research of the following issues are required: development of socio-labor relationships; and development of indigenous business and entrepreneurship aimed at the harmonization of market organization and the environment.
