Annotation
The article contains the main provisions of the Territorial Behavior Theory developed within the paradigm frameworks of regional sociology. The author carries out a comparative analysis of territorial behavior of the populations of the USA, Russia and the People's Republic of China from the 1850s and the end of the 20th century. The author reveals basic trends of dynamics of territorial behavior patterns of the societies, and on this basis he offers a forecast concerning the prospects of social and economic development of these three states in the 21st century.
