Annotation
The article is devoted to the problems of language representation of the processes of development of ethical conceptual spheres in the British and Russian national pictures of the world. The author tries to prove with the language material that the main role in the formation of the ethical conceptual spheres in the British and Russian languages belonged to the space mental representations developed in the analyzed pictures of the world respectively. Owing to the specific national visions of the inhabited territory the British culture formed mainly as the culture of shame whereas the Russian one as the culture of conscience.
