Annotation
The article represents an attempt of analyzing the economic and political reforms being carried out in Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The author shows some peculiarities of policies adopted by the Communist Party of Vietnam, including the fact that Vietnamese Communists are allowed to have shares in private businesses and attempts by the ruling circles at rooting out corruption in the country at the same time. The general conclusion is the actions of Vietnamese reformers are both cautious and consistent. | ||
