Annotation
The author makes an attempt to review one of the postmodernist theories of the historical knowledge. The author briefly reviews the reasons of appearance of the narrative philosophy of history. High emphasis is placed on the epistemological foundations of the linguistic turn in the theory of historical knowledge. The author reviews different definitions of the historical narration which exist in the narrative philosophy of history. Moreover, the author gives a special attention to the problem of relation between historical text and reality. Besides, he makes an attempt to construct the approximate model of historical narrative based upon the theory of possible worlds.
