The article deals with Asian Englishes, i.e. the English language of the Chinese, Koreans and Vietnamese. The focus is made upon the peculiarities in syllable formation, stress and rhythmical structure of Asian Englishes. Those are problems of prosodic interference that arise in language contacts. | ||
