Annotation
This article is dedicated to a research in the peculiarities of the political views of the Russian monarchist and conservative Lev Alexandrovich Tikhomirov. Mr. Tikhomirov’s political creed was undergoing certain changes throughout his life. He started as a Narodnik (a populist revolutionary) and ended up as an apologist of autocracy. The author of the article reveals the originality of Mr. Tikhomirov’s understanding of the destination of the Russian state and Russian people in the world history.
