The article deals with one of the most important problems of personality psychology - mental changings in a person who has long been in psycho-traumatic situation. The author labels this personality deformations. The article describеs basic types of personality deformations and their reasons, gives basic concepts, states the main structure of a psycho-traumatic situation,singles out the main aspects of changes in the sphere of personality psychics of a person who has long been in a psycho-traumatic situation.
