The article is dedicated to the study of the genre of anecdote in Andrey Platonov's works. The author of the article raises the question of folk roots of Platonov's anecdote analyzes the process of genre convergences between the profane anecdote and sacramental genre of the parable and that of life-story. The researcher lays the stress on the dominant of world perception characteristic of the genre and determining the image of the world in early A. Platonov's stories. The analysis of them brings the author to the conclusion about the activity of the genre of anecdote in the first period of creative evolution of the writer.
