The article is devoted to the history of the Russian emigration in Shanghai in 1920 - 1930's. Combining methods of concrete historical research and systematic analysis of an emigrant colony as a Diasporas (a part of Russian Diasporas in China), the author focuses her attention on the process of formation of institutions of the emigrant community, reveals factors determining the peculiarities of adaptation of emigrants in the cosmopolitan city. | ||
